Just right

Having used Epson printers and scanners for many years, I was done with all-in-ones with document feeders that didn't work the way I wanted them to. I was looking for a small footprint, wi-fi enabled printer for home use. We don't print a lot of pictures; we don't print a lot of anything anymore.
The XP-610 got excellent reviews and was the right size for me. The price was right and I'm very happy with the printer. First, it was the all-time easiest printer setup I've ever experienced! It took a while for the ink cartridges to register but aside from that, it took about five minutes from the box to a functional printer complete with its own e-mail address.
I'm very impressed with the ease of setup. So far, the quaity of the printing, the speed of the printer and its compact size make it the best Epson printer I've had (and I've had several).
The ink and photo papers can get pretty expensive so it won't be a high use printer for us. We use printers sparingly anyway so that issue will be acceptable.
Epson has proven to be reliable with well made products that have served me well over many years; the XP-610 appears to be another winner..

It works fine but I can't get over the very badly designed paper input and output trays. I had to put a labeled pull tab on the output tray so that anybody else but me could find it. I was spoiled by my last printer, from another manufacturer, which automatically opened a door and slid out the output tray when you printed. I wonder why they let this model get out the door. Also the WiFi connection to my computer sometimes fails to work. That may not be the printer's fault, of course.

Love Epson printers!

This is my 4th Epson printer. And I still have the other 3 and they perfectly! my 1st Epson was a Stylus Photo 825. I bought it about 15 years ago to print photos and it still prints great. The 2nd one was a Stylus Photo R340 that I bought about 8 years ago, which also still prints great. I got it to print on CD/DVDs. My 3rd Epson is a WF-845 All-In-One, with 2 paper trays that is now my main printer for documents (my first WIFI printer).
I bought this Epson XP-610 as a backup for printing on CD/DVDs just in case my R340 goes down or I can't find ink for it.
I love Epson printers and I have never been let down by Epson. They are my pick and I would definitely recommend Epson printers to friends, family....everyone!!
The photo quality is unmatched and the text on my WF-845 is laser quality. The text quality on the XP-610 is laser quality as well and does photos great. All in all, I am very happy with this and all 3 of my other Epson printers. A++

Much easier to set up than I expected

This is my first wireless printer and I was a little concerned about getting it configured with my wireless network. It was a piece of cake!
So far I have used it to print documents both 1- and 2-sided and to copy. (I haven't printed any photos). Quality for both is good. I like the way the touch screen swings out and find the icons very intuitive.
The biggest downside to this printer so far is the size and the location of the paper tray. My previous inkjet printer was a lot easier to reload load with paper.

Great wi-fi printer!

I am very pleased with the performance of this small-in-one wi-fi printer. The entire house can connect and print to this printer from their pc, smart phone, tablet, or laptop. If we are away but need to print something, we can send the print job to the cloud and the printed material is waiting for us when we get home. The printer was very easy to configure and set up right out of the box. We were printing in just a few minutes. The setup wizards make setting up wi-fi and all other printer functions a breeze. We love it and highly recommend this printer for all your printing needs.

In the past few years I haven't had any other printers besides Epson. I keep using them because they work great. The XP-610 is no exception. It has all the features I need and I can depend on it
Guess what my next printer will be....yep.

I purchased the Epson Expression Premium XP-610 for its ability to print pictures and especially because it can print on CD's and DVD's. I had a printer that would print on disk and was an excellent picture printer that used 6 different ink cartridges and it stopped working. This printer is as close to the older that I could find. I like it very much and the speed and quality is great. It has one drawback that I am bothered by and that is it virtually forces you to use only Epson ink cartridges. With generic cartridges, it puts you through all kinds of trouble to get it to work. It will work but you have to really take some time and effort.
