This printer is nearly everything i expected from Epson. I use their large format and pro printers, normally for super A3 and larger stock. This is a superb home based printer! highly recommend!
PROS:
This printer delivers quality photo prints from an iPhone, over Wi-Fi! The wi-fi setup is very intuitive and reliable. The adjustable LED touch screen display is nice and the menu is laid out predictably. For regular Doc printing, it is lightning fast and without streaks. Each color is compartmentalized (probably due to the lawsuit), which is wonderful when you only need to replace cyan. It has separate photo, letter, and CD/DVD feeding trays. Has front mounted SD, MS, and USB slots for direct printing and photo adjustments. It also has a large scanning surface which is very efficient and accurate regarding spacial recognition. I have tried neither the CD printing, nor the devices photo adjustment features yet.

All of these great features are crammed into a compact and low profile machine and you'll need to add paper often. The device will not print unless you manually pull out the output tray, which seems like it would be mechanical. Manual operations on it seem risky, because it just looks fragile. It might not be fragile but perceptions are everything. And finally, be careful when trying to cancel a wi-fi print package (ex:multi-page pdf). Each item/page gets its own place in the queue line. Each page has to be canceled individually, and if you try to cancel the second page before it begins to print, the device locks up. Use the Epson Connect for mobile printing to avoid Wi-Fi print queue issues and conflicts; they include a scannable QR code in the quick start guide to get it.

This printer performs like a mini version of a professional printer and Epson's color chroma is top notch, but im worried one of these days the display will come off in my hand.

As I continue to be amaized with all of the adjunt capabilities of this printer ,I relish the fantastic color printing I get ,my basic requirement; great prints of my paintings for distribution and jury requests.
Having this printer ,the XP610, for only a week I have yet to fully utilize the many of the other functions. If your primary requirement is color printing at a tremoundous saving, this is the unit to purchase.

I just hooked up my new printer today and so far looks like it is going to do everything I want it to do. I wouldn't have anything but an Epson printer. This is my third one. The only thing wrong with them is I print so many pictures that I
use up the ink pad beyond its capacity. Zora

Great Product - Easy to set up

The instructions, included with the printer, are complete and easy to follow. I have set up wireless printers before and this one was easy compared to those; all, other than Epson. I compared the weight of this with others like it, in function. and found it to be heavy, which I interpret as meaning it has a solid frame, metal components where applicable, and a durable design. Print speed and quality are great, and both, amazing.

the isntallation for my new printer was easy as can be. the quality of the print is sharp and the final result looks amazing. this is the second Epson printer I have had and the ink is always vibrant and beautiful!

Compact and Sleek

So far so good. This is my 5th Epson printer and one of two I have at home. I use this for paperwork, printing CD's, and for small photos when I don't want to use my large format printer. The setup was simple, fast, and worked perfectly. I miss the motorized CD drawer on my previous Artisan printer but at least there is less to break on this one. I also like going back to 5 cartridges as apposed to 6.
