Not so hot

I have used many Epson printers in the past - from all in ones to 8600 Large Format. This little printer (XP-610) just does not stand up to the Epson quality I am used to. Ok for graphics and type. I would not recommend it for any type of photo printing. Nice 'bells and whistles' though, for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a nice size printer and has all the features that I require.
I just don't like the fact that it uses up the "photo black" ink cartridges even though I don't print photos very often.
And it will not print in "black only" when one of the colors runs out.
Lately, I print mostly black text but it uses up the colors too.
I got this printer because my last, photo printer, was an Ink Guzzler.

I do like that it has separate color cartridges.

Making music cds

I purchased the XP-610 for the purpose of manufacturing cds of my music recordings. The software has the templates for the jacket and disc graphics and the process is very easy to understand. I use Epson Glossy Photo Paper and inkjet-printable discs and the finished product is AWESOME! My friends all said "WOW" when I gave them copies of the cds I have produced using the XP-610. It is a great "bang-for-the-buck" product and the quality of photos it prints is SUPERB! I highly recommend the Epson XP-610 to any musician who would like to produce a truly "professional" compact disc presentation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the xp-610 for several days. The set up was a bit more time consuming than I expected. The guide has very limited information. It assumes a buyer has a lot of information already. I had to go on line several times to get more detailed information. For instance, the guide gives no information about how to identify in which the tray the paper to be printed is located. It is a bit noisy. I do like being able to print on both sides. It prints double sided much more quickly than the RX620. This is my third Epson printer. I also like the fact that they work well with Macs. The photos look great. There is much more to learn and I'm sure I will figure it out but a more detailed guide would be helpful.

EPSON XP - 610

I just got this printer yesterday and put it threw it's pace-uses. I printed Documents, did A DVD and sent pictures and so on from phone and tablet, all with no problems what so ever. I love it and would recommend it to any one. Oh and its Quit for a printer I think.

I purchased this printer to save space. I had an Artisan 800 that was to big for my desk. This printer will not print CD's/DVD's which is the main reason I use a printer in my business.

The wireless setup, AirPlay or otherwise went a lot easier by transferring my network setup from my iPhone!
Prints very detailed photos, I can't see any difference from my older Artisan printer.
The small size is nice too.
I would recommend this to a friend!
