I just love this printer. It's small, economical, and very resourceful. Print quality is excellent and I like the fact that it has automatic two-sided printing. Just bought it 3 weeks ago and haven't used all the other features, such as scanning. Very compatible with my Apple iMac computer (OSX Maverick 10.9.4) and is attached wirelessly. Have had 2 other wireless all-in-one printers and this baby surpasses both of them.

Ink Hog

Good printer for the price, with very good features but what an ink hog!! Have not printed much volume since purchased in April (almost exactly 4 months ago) -- and not much in color either (pictures, etc.) -- but have already blown through one black, and almost all the 3-colors plus "photo black" that came with the unit originally. Basic black I understand, but the colors too?? Had I known this, I'd have purchased another competitors inkjet. Consumer Reports rated this one very highly ALONG WITH a reasonable rating for ink usage. Bad on them too.

Adequate

I purchased this printer after online research, including Consumer Reports. It does a fine job; however it is rather loud when preparing to print and since it was added to our home network, it impacted the communication time of our other printer/fax all-in-one.
I like that it has separate color cartridges. This will save money in the long run.

Set up was easy. Ink did not dry on photo paper. Trying to get this problem worked out.

My husband and I have done our research. We didn't just run out and purchase any inexpensive printer. Based on comparisons and reading hundreds of reviews, we decided on the Epson Expression Premium XP-610. We are incredibly impressed with the price, the ease of set up and the quality of the printing. Did I mention the unlimited wireless feature!?! Totally Awesome! :) Well done Epson!!!!

So far, so good

Printer works as it should. No complaints so far (1 month in). I hope to be asked to review again in a year or two. ALL previous printers have become hopelessly non-functional after a couple of years. And I do minimal printing, so that means they break after one or two high capacity ink cartridges. This is the first Epson printer I've had, so I hope to be able to give them high marks in 2016. (I've learned not to order much ink at one time.)

I just purchased this printer this evening. and actually followed the instructions, and it all worked.
It is hooked up to a windows 7 computer. My other network computer is an XP. I downloaded the proper drivers for it from Epson.com and it prints via the network also. I am so happy. Thank you Epson.

Poor Choice

This XP-610 was a replacement of another brand. It has been a consistant problem. It will not print an entire document. It stops on the 2nd or 3rd page of a four page document advising it can not print the document. Just shows and error with no explanation. The unit has various tray that yoyu must know before printing. One is for one size paper, another for another size and trays for printing envelopes is a complete mystery depending on what size envelope. Other brands are superior at the same cost.
