It was very difficult and frustrating to try to figure out what was being referenced (e.g., the output tray). This made the installation so frustrating that I haven't tried to print with it other than the test copy. Hopefully, now that it is installed, it will live up to the positive reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Printer!

For years I've used two of the versatile RX-700 printers, and was looking for an upgrade that would perform nany of the same functions, particularly the printing of CDs,DVDs, and Blue Ray disks.
The XP-610 has seamlessly taken the place of one of them, and another will shortly replace the second. I am very impressed with the XP-610!
It takes a minimum of space, handles routine printing chores without problems, prints disks very well, and I absolutely love the automatic two-side copy function!
I unconditionally recommend this compact workhorse machine!

Love the easy setup BUT

The printer was a snap to set up as a network printer for my laptop, iPad mini and my desktop and easy to use. Photos printed beautifully. My big "BUT" is a concern about ink usage. I printed two test pages. six pages of tax records and less than 15 pictures when I ran out of ink. Not sure if it's because a "sample size' was provided; if the ink that came with the printer is a standard size I would definitely NOT recommend it because of the high cost of ink.

Epson XP-610

The Epson XP-610 was my first wireless printer. It was easy to install and I was surprised at all the features the unit has available.
I used my ipad to print a document that had two (2) pages which I printed on one (1) sheet of paper and had no problems. I would recommend this unit for personal and professional use.

I'm pleased with the prints from my Epson XP-610 but not with the available help from Epson. I would like a manual that explains all of the symbols shown on the printer screen and how to use them.

This printer is amazing. Easy to hook up to wifi without needing technical support standing over your shoulder. It's small enough to move around so you are not bound to one place. The print quality is better than I expected it to be. Being able to print from my iPhone is cool to say the least. I've also made business cards for my husband and they printed with good quality color for the business logo we had to put on them. I was tired of having the big bulky printers here at home that only went out of date so fast you couldn't fix it if one tiny thing went wrong. I didn't know this printer existed. I wondered if it did, went to the store, saw it, then got nervous thinking this can't possibly have a good print quality and do other things I need. But after awhile of thinking and looking at it I bought it. Best purchase I ever made on a printer. I do recommend this to everyone. Thank you all at Epson and keep up the good work.

Amazing

This printer exceeded my expectations. Not only is the quality and speed really nice but it is also completely wireless and took very little time to set up. Now I remember why I loved Epson printers "back in the day". I love being able to edit docs on my phone and print to this Epson at home. Much more efficient. And i got all this for $99!
Don't hesitate to pick one of these up.

Super Easy Setup

So far I have set up my printer on my computer via USB cable and it was a snap! (Warning though , Install ink and let the printer initialize first. It takes a log time.) I then also installed my daughter's printer via our wireless network. It to was very easy using a temporary USB connection. I also have tested it's copy performance and it passed with flying colors. The duplicate had the same exact color as the original.
