Uses too much ink

It prints fast enough, but Ive went through 4 sets of ink since 12/7 and printed about 100 (4X6) pictures max. When you clean the printer (which needs to be done often to get a good picture) it uses up all the ink! The ink is EXPENSIVE & not readily available. You cant buy individual colors in the store if you only need to replace 1. I didnt know that.. Also it isnt easy finding the paper, especially 5X7. Wifi performance isnt stellar either. I want to return it, but I bought it black friday weekend so im sure I cant beat the price now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson Expression Premium XP-610 Printer

So many printers available I decided to get a little help so went to Office Depot and after a short while with the help decided this was the best for my needs and glad I did. A nice printer at a reasonable price. Have only had a short while but read some complaints of it using a lot of ink but after about 2 weeks of moderate printing it's still going. My only complaint might be is the upper cassette where the paper comes out seems a little flimsy. I'm afraid it might get bumped and break off. Overall a good printer and reasonably priced ink. That's another thing that made me decide on this printer, checked the price of ink first. Another reason I looked at Epson Printers was I worked in a Hospital Lab and we had some Epson Printers printing reports etc. and it seemed like they ran forever. Only problem was a paper jam every once in a while. So for now I would buy another and recommend to others.

Excellent Printer

I've had this new Epson XP-610 Printer for 3 days and It's great. I've had an Epson Artisan 810 for a couple of years and it has served me well. That is what inspired me to buy another Epson. They're the best.

Easy to setup right to your wireless connection. Nice compact design but don't like that you need to pull out the paper exit tray to print

I just bought my Epson XP-610 to replace my broken down competitors model printer. So far I like the small footprint of the printer and it was way to easy to setup. The reason it took longer than I thought is the setup diagnostics was time involved (7 minutes). But as I worked my way through the setup everything went really well and easy to understand. The wireless feature setup the first time and we have communications between computer and printer. I love the print clarity and resolution and am looking forward to checking out all the features. This is my first Epson and I am excited already. Thank you Epson.

So far very happy with the new printer. Makes excelent pictures. Very disappointed with the fact that they do not send at least a small how to manual. They expect you to know how to use it by the small screen on the printer. I would like the manual as to how to do things. Like what each screen does or how to copy pictures or download pitchures. Confusing that you put the copy in a different spot than any other printer. Alway was top,left. This one was bottom, right.

Compact but has it all

in the past two years I've had 3 other brands of printers and this is the easiest one, by far, to set up if you want to set it up as a wireless printer. If you are a "computers for dummies" type of person like me then you definitely want this printer. It sets itself up. You don't have to do anything except click "ok". When I was done setting it up (which took about 5 minutes) I even immediately got a pop up telling me new firmware and software was available to download. That, too, was as easy as pie to do ! I like that there are two paper drawers so that I can just keep my 4x6 photo paper in one tray and my letter size paper in the other. Very convenient. Also, I had to do absolutely nothing for it to communicate with my ipad. After the printer was set up it just appeared like magic on my iPad.
