Great, performing printer

I bought this printer, in part, to make color labels for my DVD home-brewed movies. It works great! It also does a great job at other types of printing jobs. However, as we say about vehicle economy, this printer doesn't get great "gas mileage!" Depending on how frequently you use this printer, it could eat up your financial resources in just buying ink cartridges. Nonetheless, it's a high-quality printer and I am very happy with it! I can only hope that Epson will offer frequent discounts on their ink cartridges.

not good. uses ink way to fast

ink runs out less then a month and its a joke how small the ink packs are when you buy this printer. hardly had more then 50 pages and better off buying a new printer then refilling this wasteful product

We received the printer as a wedding gift and it printed some wonderful pictures right away. We let the unit sit for a month and now none of the colors are printing at all and the black is dull too!!! Have tried all of the maintenance tools installed as well as changing all of the ink cartridges, nothing has improved the issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Strong Performer

Great quality printing and simple wireless setup. Compact, easy to use, and fast printing. I especially like the built-in duplexer for 2-sided printing. The only drawback is the ink cartridges are messy once opened and a little difficult to put into the cartridge carrier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson XP-610

It was suggested to me that I purchase the Epson XP-610 when my printer went south. Now that I've had a couple of day's to use the product, I must say that it responds to all of my printing and scanning need perfectly...

Great Printer for Price

I got this to replace a Canon as my main printer. I love it because for one, it has 5 ink bays. Most other inks comes in a combo pack color and black. If you print one color more than the other, say cyan and that runs out, then it renders all the other colors useless as well. You cannot even print just black. Most other printer will not allow it. With this Epson 610 (I was thinking between the 610 and the 810 both being great printers) you can just buy the one color and move on. This is good because sometimes you use one color more than the others but you don't have to buy a new ink cartridge. Also, the color printing is beautiful. Good workhorse replacement.

Quiet, Efficient Small All-In-One

I have found the XP-610 to be a very efficient printer/copier/scanner. Its operation is quiet and it does not stop in the middle of a print job to perform self-maintenance tasks, which was a nuisance situation I experienced with a competitor's printer. The XP-610 is very responsive and begins printing within just a few seconds after the print command is delivered to it. I have been very satisfied with its overall operation.

Great for Photos and Graphics - Text printing, OK

This printer does an amazingly good job of printing photos and high quality printed materials. I would recommend it for those purposes alone. I would say text printing at the normal quality setting is reasonably fast and quality is ok. For much better looking text, use the highest quality setting, but expect speed to be considerably slower. All in, I think this is an excellent printer for home or small home office use, particularly for photos and graphics, but it is certainly not ideal for higher volume business printing.
