Good phone BUT.....

I really like the phone accept on numerous occasions throughout the week I have to take out the battery and put it in to reset the phone. It freezes up, slows down, does not respond and sometimes just doesn't send or receive calls or messages. The internet gets hung up a lot on this phone. It's been ok but when your running a business this phone is not reliable enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: quickly outdated

After Using This Phone for Over A Year I Am Disappointed

When I first got this phone I thought it was great. Both me and a friend purchased it, while another friend bought the iPhone. The battery was great, the images were high-quality, and the sound was fantastic. The occasional freezing up and extra apps I didn't want did not matter to me, but it became more frequent. The phone freezes constantly (once it froze in an emergency situation), the battery life is horrible. (It will die within 5 hours without me even unlocking it once), it takes forever to charge, it turns off randomly all the time and comes back on in a safe mode where none of my apps are available. Whenever I go to power it off it takes a screen shot, every app takes forever to load (even though I have only 15 of my own apps), when my music is played, it is always very jumpy. It will show that I have 3G connection and then won't load (same with wifi) and if I have two of the five bars it still wont load anything! Everything takes long to load even if all my bars are full. The one thing I can say is that the glass is very scratch resistant. Hoever, so is the iphones glass and I certainly will be getting a new phone as soon as I can.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad battery, charges slowly, freezes, bad 3g/wifi connection
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall I was very please with this phone. The call quality was very good and the battery life was very good until the last three months of my contract then the battery wasn't not holding up as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this phone as my first smartphone. I was very happy for the entire 2 years of ownership and couldn't have picked a better phone to begin my Android journey. I've owned 3 other Samsung phones and they all have been wonderful. Til this day (11/30/2012), that phone is a very nice phone for someone just starting with Android. It was great then and it's great now.

i still use this phone all the time, one of the best i've ever had my hands on, and that's saying a lot, i sold phones for 3 years. this phone has had the snot beat out of it for the last 2 + years and is still going strong. never in a case, never had screen protector and still not a scratch on it, anywhere.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Not high def
