Although all the other Galaxy S phones have received their updates, Fascinate is still running Android 2.1. Some phones are running 2.3. When will we get an update?
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, outdated

little to no OS support. If you don't mind tinkering and upgrading your phone by other than official means, this is a great piece of hardware.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: little official support

when are we going to get the andriod 2.2 update? overall a good phone just wish that the software was current

it is a great at phone,the problem is no froyo 2.2 there a lots of games and web sites and movies you can not get with out the Froyo OS .if it is for e-mail, text and social network it a great phone,if you need more than that not so much. It like running windows 98 in today's window 7 world.

Great phone overall

First, since the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update, things have been fantastic. The phone is fast, thin, and beautiful.
Overall, there is only one real con, and this affects most Android phones: Battery life and will need to be charged most every night.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, thin
Cons: length of time waiting for android o/s updates
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone, bright, beautiful screen. Lots of good features. Wish the speaker was on the front or side, sometimes it's hard to hear it ring.

Samsung Fascinate is better than you think

At first I was disappointed with this phone because it had a few downfalls that made me wish I had gotten an Iphone. It:
-came pre-installed with Bing as the default search
-came with Android 2.1 OS
BUT DON"T BE FOOLED!!! like I was.
You can make Google your browser by putting a shortcut to Google on your homepage.
Android 2.2 is out now and the phone can easily be updated. :)))
This is a great phone and I highly recommend it.
Pros:
-beautiful display
-fast internet speed
-big screen
-high quality camera
-comfortable and lightweight, yet durable
-long battery life

-Youtube app could be better (it's slightly confusing in terms of layout)

Overall, I would definitely recommend this phone. Despite its few cons that can be easily solved, it has some amazing features. I love this phone sooo much and do not regret buying it. Android beats all!!

Syncs up easily with integrated blue tooth system. Could improve camera usage that does not lock out usage of other features ( disconnects call if you activate camera app. Have LED on front of phone with no ID of its use. And of course as much as I like bing should have google for its standard search. Also should be able to remove APPS preinstalled on phone if you choose.

Cons: no front facing camera, can not delete unused preinstalled apps
