Quite simply...the best phone I've ever had! The screen is crystal clear. All of the buttons work as designed and the speed of the phone is tremendous. Nice job Samsung. Now it might be time to purchase one of your TV's or the Galaxy Tab.

My phone went completly dead 3 days after purchase. I had charged the battery to full charge during the night, and the very next day, it went completly dead, with NO USAGE at all!!!! WTH??????
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this phone since the end of October 2010. Battery life if good [generally eight hours]. But extensive use of applications can shorten life dramatically.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery could be better

I really love this phone. But am a little frustrated with the fact that the gallery keeps freezing when i try to delete pictures. Also the camera laggs a bit. this all . As time goes by it is just getting worse. I really hope Samsung fixes this soon. I would have given this phone 5 stars across the board.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, easy to use.
Cons: camera and gallery bugs

Love my phone

I really love this phone. I travel a lot and can get my email, entertain myself while traveling and stay connected to my social network. We decided to get my husband one at the same time, he washed it a couple months ago, so we went to the store and used our son's upgrade to get him another phone, after blow drying and leaving to dry out. A few hours later after we came home our son said hey can I have this phone showing us a "working" washed phone. So now we all 3 have the phone. Unbelievable.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, camera/video
Cons: battery life

Not so Fascinating

I got this phone as a birthday present from my parents and I was very excited to finally have a smartphone. I loved the phone for a few months then it started freezing up when I was opening applications. After the Fryo update a month or so ago I have hated the phone. It freezes even more. I do not receive all my text messages. The phone also randomly deleted all of my text messages including my LOCKED messages. The screen does not automatically turn off on random occasions. I called today and I am getting a new phone shipped to me because this one did not meet my expectations at all.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone looks great & has many features but I use an Apple computer at home & the software is only compatible with PC's so who knows what's missing. (can't use backup feature)
The other issues are that sometimes the touchscreen and buttons stop working so i have to remove the battery.
Also sometimes i can't hangup from a call, which maybe related to the touchscreen issue.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, software compatibility
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
