BING, no Google? What the ...?!

This phone is good if you are either a tinkerer or have never used Android before and don't know any better. From a hardware perspective, I am delighted. The CPU is fast, RAM sufficient, and overall look and feel very nice.
There are two key issue areas.
1. Samsung's UI looks like an attempt to emulate the iPhone. Very sad. I'm sure some will like it very much, most will be annoyed that it is neither iPhone nor Android.
2. Replacement of Google apps/services with Microsoft BING, VZ-Navigator, and other VCast items defeats the purpose of getting an Android phone. I still have 12 days to decide if I'm going to return it.

Froyo will put this phone on top, but did any one else notice they show a picture of fascinate running media hub with black notification bar what's with that.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast
Cons: no froyo

I think this phone is great. I wish i could use swipe with out the pop up tips coming up after every word i enter and have to select out of the word bank. I also wish we for the 2.2 upgrade... Haven't been able to sync it to my facebook contacts like the lg ally did either but my complaints are minor enough that i still love my phone... its light user friendly great phone

I had a Blackberry for over two years before this phone, and was used to multitasking, and all other smart phone features, but once i got my Fascinate it was a whole new world. The great things about this phone devastate the bad, and even the bad things are merely inconveniences. Batter life is above par when compared to other similar smart phones, and the option to buy a bigger battery is also very nice. If I could do it over again, I would buy this phone every time. It is a great phone, and I know I will feel good about having it for the next year and a half (the rest of my contract) even with all the new phones coming out. I would, and have, recommended this phone to all who ask me if I like it, and the phone speaks for itself.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, battery life
Cons: no forward-facing camera

Very nice phone

Think this phone is just great, havne't had no problems at all with it. However I have noticed real short battery life if on the interenet much, so bring along your charger....
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
