Only OK Until Froyo comes out

I've had my fascinate for a little over 2 months now and for the most part I love it. Unfortunately, there are quite a few issues I have with it. For starters there is no 2.2 Froyo update for it, even though the AT&T Captivate received the update today. Second, I have had issues with the music player stating that my music files are not supported by this device, but after shutting down and powering back up they play just fine. My biggest pet peeve is the phone will not connect to my PC via USB anymore; I'm not sure if this is a bad cable or what?! Overall, I feel like this phone has been a waste of my money, until VZW and Samsung update the device to Froyo, I will continue to be disappointed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Good looking phone, lots of features, but disappoints! Weak radio, GPS useless after the one and only maintenance update.
Slow accelerometer switching from portrait to landscape. Also lags at times.Takes good pics though.

I've had this phone for about six months now, and I'm still very happy with it. It was a little on the expensive side, but if it lasts until my next upgrade, it will have been worth it. The configuration of the touch-screen buttons is perfect. The menus are easy to navigate. The internet, email, and other features work well, aside from the occasional freeze or foce-close. I especially like the pattern lock feature, which keeps all but select few who know the pattern out of my phone. The camera takes high-quality pictures, and I also really enjoy the mobile-upload ability.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, size, swype keyboard
Cons: occasional glitches, sun glare on screen
I would recommend this to a friend!

Facinate support

You know I really love my Facinate the screen is amazing, performance is good but am really disapointed with the future of this phone and the OS. This really making think twice about another Samsung products. I am in the market for a TV and netbook but with the experience I have had with this phone and upgrades/updates I have a feeling I should not be investing in another Samsung product if I think I want to keep it around for any length of time.

What a phone/computer!! I have only had it a week and i am amazed by it. And I am still learning how to use it. I am truely Fascinated!!!!

Worst phone EVER!

Purchased the Samsung Fascinate in December of 2010 and I have had nothing but problems with it for the past few months. Of course, I'm past the 30 day trial period for Verizon, so I'm not able to return the phone.
- Phone continues to freeze up on me, have to take the battery out and restart the phone to unfreeze it.
- Errors and issues with texting.
- During calls, the phone will just go black or turn off.

Great Phone with non existant support

I bought this phone based off the tech specs and with the belief from several sites that android 2.2 was at most only a few weeks away. After two months of owning this phone it still doesn't have 2.2 and 2.3 has been out for a while, why are we so far behind? the phone out of the box has lots of bugs and issues.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, no android updates, outdated even brand new, force close issues, had to buy a strong case phone feels fragile
