It is a good piece of equipment over all, but I hate when it freezes, some times when I am checking my texts or I get a call and it wont let me answer it, because it is frozen.
when that happens I have to turn it off and remove the battery for a minute or two and than, turn it back on.
It happens at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Excellent phone....

This is the first smartphone I have owned. I was tentative at first, smartphones have scared me because of all the features. This phone erased all those fears. It is fast, easy to use and I especially love how the swype makes emails so much faster to compose. I would definitely recommend this phone for anyone needing a reliable, sleek, and fast smartphone. Did I mention it takes excellent pictures.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera

Great phone. best i've had yet. You can get away with not haveing a laptop if you really need to.

Genius Phone but....

Works great and is highly customizable. Only issue I have is after the last update it will no longer mount on my MacBook, so I can't share things between them anymore like my iTunes playlist. It is a great phone on the whole though, would recommend it before an iPhone.

Cons: compatibility issues

The display is crisp and bright. Battery life is very good, with bluetooth and wifi off I can use it all day with moderate browser sessions. (8-10 hrs) Running internet radio through my bluetooth headset I can get about 5 to 6 hrs continuous use. Plays movies well, smooth with no stopping or distortion. The GPS works well with Google maps Navigate and seems to be very accurate. The phone itself works well and sounds good. It doesnt seem to drop calls often. My Blackberry on another network will usually drop calls in the same places.
Prior to this I had owned a Samsung Omnia. I went through 3 before giving up and going to a Blackberry. I didnt like the Win 6.? OS on the phone. It didnt work well and took a lot of effort just to make a call. The Android OS however seems to be working smoothly and is very user friendly. What I dont like about the Fascinate is the software / apps that Verizon sticks on the phone. I really dont care for Bing (generally lists some commercial sales websites for most searches). You can search with Google (theres an app for that) and customize the phone to pretty much do what you want it to. If you can deal with a few icons for Verizon apps in the menu then its a really great smartphone.

Enterprise sync! Only calendar and contacts???? You have to buy third party software get notes, tasks, etc from Outlook.
Major disappointment.....

Battery doesn't last half as long as Blackberry with extended life battery and there IS NO extended life battery!!!
For me, those two points are big, big issues.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, quick to internet...
I would recommend this to a friend!

The swpe keys are awesome!!! all features about the phone is awesome, but the battery life is really short. I used it for 7 hours and the battery was really low, when my old phone went 15 hours without a charge.... but everything is great!!!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, dropped it from my staircase and it did not break!
Cons: low battery
I would recommend this to a friend!
