I am already on my second Fascinate and I've only had it for 3 months. It glitches multiple times daily. I cannot download any apps for the fear of slowing the phone down even more and loss of battery life. I would not recommend this phone to ANYONE and have permanently forced to dislike Samsung.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, freezing, does not sync well with most apps, media storage random deletions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this phone last month and am so deeply in love with it! I bought it because Samsung has never let me down. Their products are top of the line and I have never had any technical problems with them. This phone is everything they said it was and more!

This phone is incredible and will be even more so when supplied with the android 2.2 upgrade.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, thin
Cons: no flash ability needs 2.2 update

Better off with anything but a samsung

My very first cell phone was a samsung and my fascinate will be my very last samsung. Never again. Very slow to receive android updates and phone feels cheaply built. Doesn't hold its value at all.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

My first "smart phone" and I'm very pleased except for one little thing that keeps irritating me...no flash player. A lot of the sites I frequent use flash. Also on the Con side the display is hard to see in sunlight but not a deal breaker. Otherwise sweet!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no froyo
