Sad about the OS

This is a great phone but with no upgrade path for the newer Android operating systems I would not buy this phone again. It is stuck at 2.1 while almost all other phones have gone on to 2.2 and even 2.3. Many of the newer applications will not work or are not even available on this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no os updates

5 star phone just gets a 2star rating

still can't get update to android 2.2 which limits the use of phone way to many sites and apps require flash player can't get with 2.1 and from all the rumors the u.s. customers are the only ones not to have the update and now 2.3 is out on some devices this is not a good sign
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best phone I ever owned

I have owned many other android devices from other companies but never a Samsung phone. This phone is VERY fast, has an amazing screen, and excellent touch sensitivity. My only gripe with this phone is no 2.2 (YET!), this phone will excel very well with the Froyo update.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, sexy, camera, touch sensitivity, 802.11n

great phone

I had a terrible experience with another company's product and really questioned whether or not I should have a smart phone. I exchanged it for a Fascinate and what a difference! I love my new phone and tell everyone about it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

The phone does all as advertised but there is NO MEDIA HUB as it IS ADVERTISED on the site. This is a major blow and one of it's only. As well as not upgrading to a latest version of Android such as 2.2 (Froyo) or even 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no media hub, slow & no real push facebook notices
