Great but better once we get 2.2

I have been very happy with my phone but would like to finally see the 2.2 update released. I will like to see the full potential of my phone. If the update does not come I know not to buy a samsung phone again. Even the phone docks are not ready until the 2.2 release comes. Why release something that isnt fully ready yet.
I found it easy to use, plenty of custimisable options, and it keeps doing more things everyday.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like this phone it is the fastest phone I ever seen, and it don't even feel like it's in your back pocket because it's so thin. It's faster than my friends iphone 4 lol.
I have had mine for a month now. The picture quality is amazing when you use the camera. Its very light weight, with the display fully bright it makes a good flash light (there is also an app for that). I does freeze sometimes though all smart phones will if you forget to use task manager and kill all active apps, However I have noticed it does it less then other phones I have tried. Once you have used swype you may never want to go back it is a very nice time saver along with the speak to talk feature. Its the best droid phone I have seen and used so far. The only downside is there is no upgrade for Froyo.
I tried the Captivate, the Epic, and now the Fascinate... I love my phone. My only complaint is there is no notification LED to blink when you've had a missed call or a new message. The Captivate has this feature and I got use to it so I miss it. Its a great phone all around and with Verizon's network I havent had to worry about coverage.
There is one other thing... Music files, notifications, and ring tones are unfortunately mixed together in the music player. There are instructions online on how to fix this, but none seem to work unless you want to take a chance in getting into the deep nether regions of the Operating System... Its a big issue for me when I want to play music in my car because I have to have a playlist built. Otherwise it plays ringtones and notifications. I'm hoping the next update will resolve this. (if Samsung and Verizon read these, PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS!)
This phone had the potential to be truly great, but no LED notifications for missed calls & messages and Samsung's releasing new phones with old OS (2.1) that will not play Flash. It is a phone that causes embarassment when my friends and family that own HTC and Droid X play content next to me that I cannot see. It has the most beautiful display I have ever seen... not play Flash video.
My first smart phone and this puppy does most things well, may be great. The size is good, screen is very nice (better than my son's Droid X), takes great pictures and video for a cell phone, etc. If a navigation program is not needed, I would definitly recommend this phone. My GPS device died and I thought that the Fascinate would do well in this regard, but I had to buy another GPS unit since I was past the 30 days to return the Fascinate. The Android 2.2 update will allow Google Navigator to operate, but I could not wait any longer since the Android 2.2 did not roll out in November as the everone was saying. Overall I enjoy the phone!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, battery with average use, texting, controls
