Screen appearance and responsiveness is exceptional. Performance and speed are excellent. Call quality is acceptable, it does chop the audio when there is significant background noise. I wish the power button doubled as a shutter button when in camera mode. Battery life leaves much to be desired. The standard headphone jack is a definite plus. I like the Captivate's metal back better than the Fascinate's plastic battery cover. Why they didn't give both phones 16GB internal memory and camera flash is beyond me. And the super cool sliding door to cover the USB port, why isn't there one just like it to protect the camera lens?
Pros: Bright display, responsive performance
Cons: too little internal memory, poor battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this phone. Its the best phone I have ever owned. The only problem I have is they are very slow with putting out updates. Every other phone is running Android 2.2 and we are still on 2.1. Other than that, this is best phone on the market right now.
This phone is a great one, well made etc the only problem I see is not with the phone but with Samsung!!! I hope some one reads this and acts on it. we are on the verge of gingerbread being released and honeycomb is already in the works yet we still only have 2.1!!! That is the only issue the phone has gps lock time would be resolved with a 2.2 update.
The phone is great but the GPS works randomly at best. I have compared it with several Motorolas and they win every time. The Samsung's GPS will sometimes take 10 minutes just to start finding satellites and never receives as many as a nearby Motorola will. It seems to have trouble turning on and then almost never gets a fix on more than 7 satellites. When using navigation, you may be better off parking your car for 10 minutes until the phone figures out where it is at. Other phone I have used will do this in seconds. I hope this bug can be fixed someday. My wife has the same phone with the same problem.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love my phone, I just wish the battery would last longer but other then that Its great..
I love my phone, the screen is super clear and bright. It has a nice size but is not too heavy. My only con is the signal strength, it seems I got more bars with my previous phone.
I had bought the Droid 2 and saw a friend with the new Fascinate. He was holding out to buy this phone and when I saw the screen I was sold. But... little did I know that it was the biggest mistake I've ever done. I took my Droid 2 back and got the Fascinate. Everytime I start to text someone the screen closes and goes to the lock screen then right back to the text. I have to click back on the box so I can start texting again. It does the same thing when I play games. I've got the screen lock turned off and every time I run task killer it locks the phone. The Droid 2 seemed a lot faster and I never had that problem with the phone like I do with this one! I don't know if any updates have come out other than the 2.1? I was really disappointed with the way this phone runs. The screen is the good thing on this phone if you ask me!!!!!!
