Great phone, one major problem

I love this phone in so many ways... I'm a previous iPhone and Incredible owner, and this phone just destroys them in a lot of ways... the photo and video are better than the iPhone... however, there's one major issue. I'm a Mac user and when I take video on my phone (which looks great, by the way) it isn't readable by quicktime. So when I launch it in my video player, it only displays audio, but no picture. I have to convert it with a 3rd party software package to play it on my computer or upload it to facebook (another feature that would be nice to have on the phone. You can only share with bluetooth, messaging or email). Other than that, best phone and interface I've seen, hands down. It should be even better with the elusive 2.2 upgrade that I was promised by the end of the year and probably won't see until March.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no 2.2 upgrade yet, videos aren't compatible with quicktime
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone, BUT is not keeping up with current Android OS platform:( Very disappointed!

Best Droid phone a real iPhone killer

Players all movies divx m4v and FLAC audio files with native phone apps. Very very nice. Waiting on 2.2 update to fix mic/call quality issue, that is not that bad but is rather annoying.
Better faster stronger than Droid X.
Downside you have to purchase micro-USB to HDMI cable. May need 2.2 to use HDMI out as well.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, lossless audio support flac, divx support
Cons: no hdmi cable in box, extended battery is huge
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would have given the phone 5 stars across the board except for 2 things: 1) no front facing camera and 2) when the phone is "media scanning" things SLOW DOWN during the scan. The scan only last 10 or 15 seconds, but I've gotten used to the quick response of the phone and it is unnerving. But other than that, I LOVE the phone and would recommend it to EVERYONE!!!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: no front facing camera, phone slows way down during media scanning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new fascinate phone. It's screen and features ate unmatched. The one thing holding this phone back is FROYO. Having the best phone on the market is great to bad I own a, Fascinate with eclair.

Do NOT like the battery life, nor how long it takes to charge this thing, but other than that...it may be the best phone I have ever owned. Love the camera/video feature. Texting is a breeze with swipe. Call quality is very good.

This phone has good features, good hardware and generally works well but will be a disappointment for some. Anything that does a lot of I/O you can expect it to go slower then on competitor phones. GPS is decent if it will get a lock quickly but very often does take over ten minutes to figure out where you are. Battery life is alright but be realistic, if you are browsing a ton all day its gonna use a lot. If you don't then I've gone days without charging with occasional use. I've had mine since the day after it launched, and still no android 2.2 which is a disappoint since more and more apps require it. No news from samsung or verizon when it will be released. If you want good customer satisfaction in regards to updates this phone is not for you. Still can't install the google search app since it is still stuck at 2.1 (instead stuck with bing still after 3+ months). Car dock doesn't work properly either due to issues. I like this phone mostly because it is thin and lightweight while still giving better battery life then some alternatives.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: lack of updates, i/o lag
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
