Great Phone

Love this phone all I have owned were Samsung phones This is a big step up from the Instinct HD that I had with Sprint I only have one complaint the blue tooth disconnects often during signal loss and I use a Jawbone I and Jawbone Icon
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, blue tooth problems

BAD PHONE COMPARED TO IT'S RIval

I had initially bought another phone (which I can not mention) . Which I loved but had to take it back to the store to return due to a problem.. The rep convinced me to buy the Samsung Galaxy S. Since they were both the same and they were both running a 1Ghz Processor. Decision Which I "SO MUCH" regret now. First of all the Android version on it it's outdated and Samsung will not allow to update to Android 2.2. It is a far slower phone than the (The other Phone X) in regards to opening apps and loading websites. I have to admit the screen it's much nicer but that is the one and only thing. in my honest opinion it's like comparing a 4 cylinder car to an 8 Cylinder Turbo in regards to Engine size displacement and performance. I defenetely will not recommend this phone to anyone.. Also Battery life can not be compared to (That other phone X) since the both come with a 1500mAh Lithium batteries and the Omled display it's supposed to drain less battery. I really tryed my best to update and make this phone better but it really has it's limitations. Sorry for this one Samsung I truly hope you approve and post this.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, good overall quality
Cons: Did not meet expectations, slow phone, too pricey (for it's performance), outdated android version, same price as it's competitor, phone freezes while opening apps, battery life, feels flimsy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NEEDS FLASH PLAYER AND MEDIA HUB!

Best Smartphone by far. Have owned Treo's, Blackberrys, HTC Droid Eris. The Samsung Fascinate by far exceeds my expectations and out performs all others. Period.

Wish my Fascinate had Android 2.2

I originally bought this phone as an upgrade. What I especially liked about it was the bright screen and ease of use. It does everything I need a phone to do except I wish it had Android 2.2 so I could access my company email without jumping through hoops. While I'm still learning to use it, I have found that for most things, it's a pretty intuitive phone.
Pros: Bright display, ease of use
Cons: battery life

I used to have iPhone envy, no longer. I think the circle is turning. I have friends with iPhones that are jealous of how great the screen looks and and with some of the features. I love the features and have not been able to put this phone down since I got it.

Good smart phone

I've had my phone for almost 3 months now and I really like it. Very close to my old iPhone 3G. The only negative I have is the battery does not last as long as my iPhone did under similiar usage. I had to buy a secondary battery and charger to go longer than 7 hours in my work day.
