IT'S A LOVELY PHONE, SO SLIM AND LIGHT WEIGHT. EASY TO USE MOSTLY. PICTURES ARE GREAT. WE HAD VIBRANT BEFORE DIDN'T HAVE A FLASH. THIS IS WITH FLASH MUCH BETTER. WE LOVE THE SWYPE. I DON'T LIKE NOT HAVING THE BACKSPACE BUTTON THOUGH. ALSO WE COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM PHONE TO PC WITH USB CABLE. WE REALLY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH USB CABLE ACTUALLY.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, swype is great, lot's of apps
Cons: usb problems, to save a memory card opt.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Best Phone Ever

I am loving my phone so much! The color design, the features and all the cool apps are the best! This is one of the best phones Verizon has had so far. I thought the HTC Incredible was the bomb, but nope, the Samsung Fascinate got the HTC Incredible beat!
I recently replaced my Samsung Omnia with the new Fascinate SCH-i500 after seeing a demo. I love the blazing speed of the processor, the beautiful AMOLED screen and the ability to sync to various email and social networking accounts. Calendar items entered on my phone automatically propogate to my wife's Fascinate and vice versa. Ditto with Contacts.
The phone comes with a 16 GB micro SD card, which is more than ample for all the pics of the grandkids, etc. and any music I might want to add.
The myriad of apps available for the phone are way more than I could ever use.
The audio quality is outstanding and the volume level for ringtones is great, but the vibration is somewhat weak. This is more like a pocket computer than a cell phone.
I really have no major gripes about the phone except that one must charge the battery more often if using power-chomping features like animated desktop themes, wireless networking, etc.; however there are power-saving tricks one can use to maximize battery life.
The built-in camera takes great pics and the HD video is fabulous. For the casual amount of texting I do, I prefer Swype, as I've become more proficient with it.
The PDF owner's manual is 175 pages long and I am 42 pages into it. It is a must read for a thorough understanding of all the capabilities of this phone.
Excellent product. Screen colors are great. Only con battery needs to last longer between charges. I would recommend this product to a friend or family member.
Cons: battery needs to last longer between charges
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this phone discovering something new about it every day, it is light weight and thin, I read reviews prior to buying the phone and they were all good with the exception of one thing- the battery life was not great; I disagree with that entirely, im constantly on the internet and on phone calls, and the battery last me the entire day and night. I have no complaints. It's wonderful !
Very good phone...well designed...thin, with many features. Never thought I would learn to use Swype technology...it is cool and makes it enjoyable to send a short or long message. I wish Samsung would have included the service manual...why a "Tips and Hints" manual, if you are a basic learner. Overall, I enjoy my first cell phone.
