Powerful Smartphone Handset

As one would expect from a Galaxy S phone, this phone packs a lot of power. I'm pretty impressed with the speed of the phone even though it is still running Android OS 2.1. One of my biggest gripes though is that there is still no Android 2.2 OS. I think Galaxy S phones may have the best hardware out there at the moment, but they certainly are slow at getting software updates.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, super amoled, powerful gpu and cpu
Cons: samsung are slow with software updates, battery life could be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fascinate fascinates me.

I got the fascinate in Late Nov 2010. I am with Verizon. I love this phone. At first Bing was a small issue, but with the Froyo update all has been resolved. Battery life is average with other smartphones. I purchased an extended battery. Best thing I have done. This phone is quick and easy to customize to your liking. Everyone who sees it is impressed. Android Apps rock. I also purchased a 32gb sd card. That has been very useful as well. I wish the camera was 8 mp.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

I bought this phone base on the salesman and the bright screen. I have had nothing but problems since about three months into the purchase. The phone freezes way too much and the batter life is very bad. Now it just blerts out random voice messages. If I could get another phone other than a Samsung I would but I have until June 2012 before I can upgrade. I will never buy a Samsung cell phone again.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, freeze, batter life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is by far one of the best phone that I had purchased. Compared to traditional LCD displays, I love the Super Amoled display, which outshines other mainstream displays. Despite having single core processor, it still gets things done.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Not Ready for Primetime

The phone is good, but when I tried to link to my Intel/MS computer, the computer did not reconize the phone. The Samsung site did not list this model for software updates.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, good free apps
Cons: could not link to my computer, could not remove factory apps not wanted
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lost my HTC Incredible

I lost my HTC Incredible and was looking at the Samsung Fascinate for a month before I lost my phone. I was impressed with the quality of the picture. The phone is very light in weight. The sound quality is amazing. I love all of the applications that come with the phone. SWYPE is amazing on the phone.

I thought wrong

I had a blackberry and switched to this. Big mistake. My phone never works. I've had it since it came out and this is already my second one. They had to replace the original one two days after I got it because it was defective. This one is too. I should've traded it in while I still could. It lights up and vibrates for no reason. Poor call sound quality. No LED notification light. Camera isn't great but that isn't why I got it. I expected more from a samsung. Touch screen also doesn't respond all the time. The touch buttons don't always respond either. No built in camera button. Very disappointed. No flash player..
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations
