I've had this phone for bout 7 days now, and its my first android phone. I love the screen it is beautiful and the sensitive of the scree is sensitive almost to sensitive at times. i have had to reset it 3 or 4 times cuz it froze and i was only running like 1 app and browser. Other than that i haven't had any probables that I've come across so far. All in all its a grate phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

i've had this phone for about , a month now , and im a freak when it comes to gadgets . i 've debated over this phone or the droid x . im still kind of iffy about this phone , when someone sends me a 2 page text message , i get this text following stating that some characters have been removed or something other , and they will recieve a text saying my phone does not accept something ( i cant remember ) , and i know its because you cant send out more than 160 characters or whatever , but before the fascinate i had the chocolate touch , and those text messages following my 3 page long text messages never NEVER occurred . i know its not a big deal , but to me , its kind of irritating , im a huge text banger ., so i tend to text more than i talk . & i HATE the fact that it doesnt have adobe flash player . i do a lot of online shopping , and what not and a lot of my sites have adobe flash player , i am still & would like some help if there is an app out there in the android market for adobe flash player that i can download onto my my phone . other than that i love the battery , it lasts for a very and i mean @ least for me it lasts pretty long (: good work samsung .
Cons: no adobe flash player, annoying notifications for sending over 160 charac
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why & What to Do!

REMOVE BING...ADD GOOGLE. UPGRADE 2.2 with intentions of 3.0 when available and improve UI. TouchWiz is a little childish...Sense UI is awesome. Look for a middle ground. Cut through the delay and deliver what the people want. Just do a simple Google search. The people are unhappy about these things...give the consumers (i.e your life life) what they want.
Yes, I am disappointed. I am not a tech junkie, and up until I bought this phone I have been using cell phones that inspire my teenagers to mock me. I was so excited to be able to use wifi connections to view all content on the web! SO EXCITED!!!!! Imagine my disappointment when I found out that my phone's OS is not supported by adobe flash player. That means I CANNOT VIEW ALL CONTENT ON THE WEB. This phone requires an Android upgrade to 2.2, which I heard would be available "late October". I boutgh this phone in early November, and I have not been able to find the download. I am disappoint.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not able to view all web content, cannot find os upgrade
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this phone. Im sort of a techie and it's great to see a product with good functionality geared toward us women. Great, true and bright colors as well as ease of use. The only downfall is the battery but after having a couple of smartphones a low battery is the chief complaint. Didn't realize how many applications that are available. Samsung did good with this. We have a few flat screen tv's and nothing but good things. Keep up the good work Samsung.
Great Phone Excelent quality, but the phone needs a serious ubdate to 2.2 or to get flash, whats the hold up? And we should have a choice if we want to censor speech to text if we want!
Cons: needs 2.2, no choice to censor speech to text
I would recommend this to a friend!

Honestly, the Samsung Fascinate was my second choice. I was going to get the Motorola Droid 2. But turned out Verizon was out of them and it would have delayed my company getting our phones by 48-72 hours. I picked the Samsung Fascinate as they had them in stock, and it was a reasonably priced phone. The screen was far better than I was expecting, the colors are asbolutely brilliant, even holding it up against the Motorola Droid 2, Droid X, and the Droid. it just makes them seem like a 1970's tube TV compared to this phone. The phone is lightning quick after changing up some of the applications and services, it again performs much faster than the Droid X and Droid 2's we have in the business. Overall I'm thoroughly happy with this device, my one big thing going to this device is that I did want a physical keyboard, but didn't want the bulk. Sywpe is alright, but nothing gives the same accuracy as a physical keyboard.
I give this product a 4/5 and I will be recommending it to everyone looking to upgrade their phone.
basic function such as usb connection to pc does not work for my galaxy s. Read several how-to-fix but unable to make it work for three months. it is looking good and have nice features but missing basic functionality which is sad. i cannot recommend this device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
