Almost perfect phone!

The inclusion of the Europeans version front facing camera would have ended my search for the "complete" phone. Otherwise, great features, brilliant processor, and gorgeous screen, perfect size and weight. Please hurry and fix the gps bug and other small glitches and I will be greatful. Speakers could be a little more powerful, but hey....
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, attention getter
Cons: poor gps performance

FACSINATING!!!

i have had this phone for just over a week and i cannot put it down. it lives up to its name and more. all around this phone is an awesome product and i would recommend to anyone wanting to buy a new phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not able to delete verizon apps

I bought the Fascinate the day it went on sale and after using it for the past month, could not be happier with my purchase! I have quite a few friends with Droid 1's, X, Incredible and Iphone 3&4's and all of them are impressed with the screen quality on my phone. Especially in direct sunlight, none of their phones can compete with mine!
The only thing I'm dissapointed with is the delay in getting the 2.2 Froyo update. Every other phone out there has had 2.2 update for weeks now, so what's the delay with the Galaxy S line? While I like Bing, I don't like the fact that you can't change the default search engine OR delete apps that I don't want to purchase or will ever use, off my phone. Other than that, it's an awesome phone and I love it! This phone is super fast and super reliable! Call quality is excellent!

Dear Verizon, It's about time!

i've had an iphone 3g, iphone 3gs, now i have the iphone 4. but i work for verizon. the blackberry storm was a joke. the droid finally came out & it was just ok. it was still very glitchy & had a lot of flaws. then the droid incredible came out. i was so excited. but the battery wouldn't last me a day & still pretty glitchy. they were getting better though. then came the droid x. i got it during launch day. i was excited to brag to all my iphone 4 friends what they're missing out on. it is a great product, but lacked on a few major things for me. the droid x was slow & choppy scrolling through the pages & still was pretty glitchy. colors looked faded, & cosmetically, it just didn't do it. the whole phone was TOO big!. So here we have the fascinate. by far this is the best phone verizon has. THANK YOU SAMSUNG. it definitely is an iphone 4 KILLER! all my customers who come in asking if we're getting the iphone soon ends up walking out the store happy & excited with their new fascinate!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: doesn't come loaded w/ 2.2, soft keys don't remain lit

Great Phone- does not support SMTP

Great phone, nice design but will not support SMTP servers for email. Despite the owners manual and information on line, according to level three tech support at Samsung, SMTP is not supported but might be in a future operating system update.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, will not support smtp

As a truck driver, I needed a reliable all in one device instead of toting a laptop, TV, gaming console, music player, phone, etc. with exception to GPS because truck specific GPS owned.I've owned it for five days and I am super impressed with all the features. I am a smartphone junky if I may and I think I've found the King of them all for the time being. There are only one thing I wish were better such as touch buttons backlight should have settings to control length of operation. The Bing change will come in time. Reception is extraordinarily great, in my opinion, better than the Moto Droid I had. It's more than perfect for my needs, which is ALL it's feature. If you are thinking about buying it, don't second guess like I almost did. This will hold me over until LTE is developed fully nationwide.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, built-in task manager, video capture & camera, call quality, reception, speed, battery life for a smartphone, ease of use, don't have to remove actual battery to remove micr, music player with equalizer & other sound options
Cons: backlight should stay lit longer or option to cont

I LOVE MY SAMSUNG FASCINATE. THE ONLY BAD THINK IS THE BATTERY AND BING SEACH. WAITING FOR FRODO (2.2)

this phone is the best phone out there the only thing its missing is the flash player with the 2.2 froyo i went from the droid x to this phn but if they dont come out with the update no later then end of nov then im going back to the X. come on samsung push for this im hanging on by a thin treed and want to stay with this phn but only if it has the flash. other then that i cant find any thing wrong with this phone. 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 2.2 !!!!!!!!!
