Amazing Phone!!!

Touch screen phones weren't really to my liking until I tried this phone. This phone is amazing. Its fast, reliable and a great buy. If it comes out in 4G I will Deffinately buy another one. I espesially love the fact that the battery life on this phone is great! I never had it die on me and as long as I use the kill app on my phone to stop all programs I don't need running it never will.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

iPhone 4 rival.

This phone is great! The design is nice and it's very light. The only downside I would have to say about this phone is the battery life, but the thing is the phone is so light, compared to an iPhone 4 - it's as light as a feather! The phone is fast, haven't had any problems yet with the phone, but the only downside would have to be the phone speaker itself, it doesn't sound like a high quality speaker. But the speaker for music/media tasks is loud and works great. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a smartphone, but doesn't want an iPhone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, bing is default search engine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not As Good As I Expected

The screen is beautiful, games and apps run smoothly and the features are fairly intuitive.
A front facing camera isn't a big deal now, but soon enough everyone will have one. The touch sensitive buttons(Menu, Home, etc.) can be very hard to find in the dark, an option to stay lit with the screen would be nice(Except during video playback). I still can't find a confirmation on Wireless N capabilities. More often than not, people have trouble hearing me during a call. Voice quality is fine, just very faint. Have tried with and without noise canceling option, still faint either way.
It is very easy to overload this phone with all the games and apps out today. Screen transitions become choppy, web pages take forever to load and things as simple as messaging need to be forced closed(Lost over 5,000 saved messages that way). I don't believe there should be a need for a 3rd party task manager.
Overall this is a great phone. A few crashes, a few bugs, but that is to be expected with such an advanced device. A good software update could make this phone the best out there in my opinion(Hint to Samsung).
Pros: great display, beautiful pictures, thin design, game play and apps
Cons: choppy screen transitions, no front-facing camera, front touch buttons, microphone

It Still Works!

Last night my Fascinate spent some time in the washing machine, through the whole wash cycle. I knew it was a goner. I went online where it was recommended that I remove the battery put the phone and battery in rice overnight (to take out the moisture) and see if it would work. IT WORKED. I love this phone.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight

Laggy and Gets No Updates

The phone lags/locks up constantly. We have 3 of these phones in my company and they all do it. Also, they don't seem capable of releasing 2.2 or 2.3 ever.
On top of these issues, it comes pre-loaded with MS apps trying to replace the core services like Maps, Navigation, Search. Very sad.
The screen is very nice which is the only good thing about the phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no android 2.2, bad performance, loaded up with bloated bing apps
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is honestly the best phone I have ever had. I have had many Blackberry devices and other brands of Android powered phones and this by far is the best phone. The functions on the phone are easy to use. The apps are endless. It runs on Froyo 2.2 which allows the phone to have Adobe Flash Player 10.2. You are able to go on the internet and have it look and work as if you were on a laptop or desktop. I'd recommend this phone to anyone with no hesitation. My sister, brother, mom and myself all have this phone. Its never given me any problems and I am constantly on my phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, slim, swype keyboard, great camera

Worthless since Android 2.2 and 2.2.1 update

The phone was perfect until the Andriod 2.2 and 2.2.1 update. Now the phone is a piece of junk. We've been having problems with the phone for 6 weeks. They've both been replaced and still the same problems. Stay far away this phone. Samsung, when are you going to fix these problems????
