What happened??

Android 2.1... perfect. Android 2.2... what happened here Samsung?? Ever since I have installed the new version, I have had issues with receiving/sending texts, constant "hard" resets, and this ridiculous "screen capture" function!! Supposedly a VZW service rep said you have to push the back button and the on/off button to get this to happen. Well then I must have so many finger prints on my back button that it thinks its being pressed when I try to turn my display off, because I have taken at least 20-30 random screenshots over the last few weeks. True, it's not life-ending, but it is a completely useless feature. For the love of all that is good in this world, please make an update to remove this feature!! Also, riddle me this... how is it that you NEVER have to "remove the battery" on an iPhone because it has locked-up? Does anyone besides me find that this seems to be the answer to all issues. At what point in time are these companies (Apple excluded) going to realize that there should be no reason to have to "hard reboot" your phone constantly and just fix the problem!!

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, android 2.2 came way late and is horrid

This product freezes constantly

I absolutely hate my Samsung Fascinate. The alarm clock doesn't work. It freezes when I use my GPS. It freezes when I take a call. It freezes when I text. I'm on my third replacement phone.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

I've had this phone 7 months now and have no complaints. It works whether I'm in the mountains or on the beach. Great phone!

was skeptical about smartphones... now totally addicted. great features, great display, great design, sometimes sticks, but not like some of the reviews depict. a great value for the price

Since day one of purchasing this phone, nothing but problems. The time went on and hoping the phone would get better through software updates. This never happen, now im missing calls not receiving test messages verizon wont do anything besides replace with another fascinate that still would have problems.

Purchased this phone in Nov 2010 as my first Android phone. Have had no problems whatsoever with it as some other phones have with having to be reset. It has very vivid color and sound is great. Battery life could be better but I do use the browser a lot and play lots of games...so that could be my problem. :-) Would recommend to anyone.

Super fast, Great Big Screen, Very responsive. The only problem I have had with the phone is not being able to mount the phone to either of my computers running Win7 x64. I have done everything that I should have done for it to be recognized on my computer so I can transfer files/music/etc, but still a week later I have yet to be able to figure this out. Total bummer because this phone was also going to be used as my "ipod".
The best part of this Samsung is the battery life, it is not too often that you can find a smart phone that with moderate to above moderate use the battery will still last all day, with GPS on and WiFi when needed, love the battery life, keep it up guys. Please fix the USB Mount issues, this problem is all over the internet and you guys are losing business over it, that I am sure of. Other than that a great product!
