Works great - exactly what I was looking for.

I purchased this monitor to replace 2 monitors and was looking for something that had similar characteristics as my desktop monitor. As a developer I need at lot of apps running and visible as one large desktop.
The monitor was super easy to set up - just attached the HDMI cable and turned it on. I was planning on using the mini display port but didn't have a cable (they should pack one with the monitor). The HDMI cable worked so I just went with that.
Everything was perfect for about a month. And then, every once in a while, the monitor will go completely black for about 5-10 seconds and then resume working again. Distracting to say the least.

If you want to use the split screen option make sure that the connection between your computer and your monitor is dvi, hdmi, displayport
split screen option will not work with two monitors connected on your computer if you have a dual monitors connected on your computer for windows o.s based computer you need to change the multiple display settings you need to choose Show desktop only on 2 or show desktop only on 1 it depends on your primary monitor

Ultrawide at its finest

There are a lot of concerns about some of the early reviews of these monitors, so I'll address it:
Backlight bleed: No issues on my model, aside from the standard IPS glow. My monitor was built in November 2014 so they may have addressed the backlight bleed issues from earlier reports by then, but I do not see anything in any of the corners and certainly nothing that comes up in my regular use of the screen.
Resolution is fantastic and the screen is very sharp (as it should be with how high the pixel pitch is) - 3440x1440 is fantastic for productivity as well as being a lot of fun to use in games. Not all games support ultrawide resolutions 100%, but there are plenty of workarounds and this is no fault of the monitor itself.
Colors are bright and vivid and out of the box calibration was very good. No dead pixels and no issues with glare or reflections.
The only "negatives" I have are minor -
Displayport behaves a little oddly when the monitor sleeps, but that's because Windows has a bad habit of rearranging and resizing the desktop when it detects a Displayport monitor turning off. A registry fix seems to have alleviated most of the issue but it still happens every so often.
It's 60Hz so if you're going to balk about not being higher refresh rate and screen tearing, then it's not for you. I experience minimal tearing overall and the immersive width more than makes up for anything I notice, and this is a direct replacement for a 120Hz TN panel which was buttery smooth. I had them both hooked up for a few weeks and ended up giving the 120Hz to my wife to use because I had no interest in going back.
It's so wide that some websites have layout issues - mostly islands of text in the middle of the big screen. I've been using the quite decent LG screen split software and experimenting with rations to figure out which works best for browsing, and so far the 2-way 16:5 split works the best overall, and it lets you adjust the ratio slightly by resizing the larger of the two sides.
This is a great monitor with amazing display quality and very nice design - the height of the stand is a minor issue and I'm switching to a VESA mount monitor arm anyway, but if you've got it flat on your desk it can be a little low due to the minimally adjustable height.
High price, but that's the penalty for being an early adopter of a nonstandard format. I still don't regret spending the money though - having your peripheral vision immersed in a game instead of cut by bezels is a great experience and well worth the price of admission. Just make sure you have powerful graphics card(s) to run it!

Once set-up, you magically forget about the price

I was working on two 23" 1080p 16:9 screens for a couple years and my work habits grew to fit the extra width that provided. The biggest complaint I had was the horrible black bezel that sat dead center in my line of sight. After much deliberation I decided to "bite the bullet" and order this display. I can safely say it is well worth the money. There's no distortion from lame Windows scaling, the colors are beautiful, and the best part is...no black bar down the center.

Beautiful, for that you get 5 stars. The one but is that the stand really needs to be changed. Honestly for what we paid, it should come with a better stand.
Games play well, moves look better than on my old plasma in the living room. We now watch almost everything on this monitor.

Great Monitor... at a price

This monitor is by far the easy to use, most beautiful, and useful monitor I've ever owned. However it is also the most expensive monitor I've ever had. If you can justify the price, you'll never regret it. My monitor has an acceptable amount of back light bleed, they all will have it.
Gaming: Great
Movie streaming: Okay, Netflix and amazon instant video don't support the aspect ratio so your left with a black border all around the image. YouTube has some videos formatted perfectly for this screen but most are not.
Productivity: Amazing, having 3 documents open on the same screen with no bezels or need to zoom pages out is amazing.
The only negative thing i have to say is i have a small line of dead pixels on mine. nothing massive or intrusive but its there. Ill be looking into the return policy.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

Great quality product!

The 34UM95 monitor is an outstanding monitor. The best monitor I've ever used. Colors are vibrant, and speakers are are surprisingly okay for built in speakers. The 21:9 aspect ratio gives you a lot of horizontal screen real estate to work with for anything you want, love it.
That being said, it is not perfect. Backlight bleed is noticable when the screen is dark or black. It also takes a little too long than I would like to detect any video input. By this I mean when I turn on my PC this monitor doesnt display my PC display right away, but takes time to detect the signal. The 21:9 aspect ratio is also not widely supported by all games and applications, so I often had to settle with either weird UI layouts or non-native resolutions. With how wide it is, a slight curve would probably have been good too, so it kinda makes me wish I bought the curved model.
The included stand is very limited in terms of adjustments, only allowing for up and down tilt, and you would have to undo screws and remove the entire stand to adjust height by as much as 1 inch. These adjustment issues are of course non-issues if you use a vesa mount that this monitor is compatible with. The clear stand also kind of backfires because it makes cables visible, where as a colored stand would be able to conceal the wires.
Overall great monitor though, and money well spent.
