[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treated myself to the new kitchenaid mixer with glass bowl, as I have been wanting one for quite a while. After ordering it and receiving, I took it out of the box a few days later to make a cake and it made a horrible grinding noise, like something was wrong with a bearing/motor. Returned it and had to order a new one in a different color as my original color was gone. Keeping my fingers crossed this new one is still a quality product and will hold up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I struggle at times in the kitchen multitasking to get things done, my mixer is dependable. I just leave her in a certain corner and do all the mixing that I want her to do. The quality is superb that gives a confidence that it will last long. With this friend, I am more inspired to bake or try out new recipes and be the best cook in my own way. I am pretty sure that we will be partners for a very, very long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid stand mixer. (The first was stolen in a burglary many years ago.) Twenty-five years later, I finally decided to bite the bullet (and make room in the budget) to purchase another. I got the red one and immediately named her Miss Ruby. I have made numerous loaves of bread, muffins, and other large volume or heavy items that I have difficulty mixing with a hand mixer. The only problem I have had is figuring out how to securely attach the bowl to the base. But after a bit of trial and error, I got it down pat. In summary, I LOVE IT!
