[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer I received had the uncoated attachments. They are yucky!! You can't put them in the dishwasher because the metal turns funny. Mixer is great. It does bounce a little even in locked position.

I used the mixer the very first night I unpacked it! I have made everything from a homemade cheese ball to cookies in it; from my sweet potato casserole to a puree as a base for my soup. KitchenAid mixers are a great time saver, and by far the most useful tool I have in my kitchen!
