[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son gave me this for Christmas and I love it. The only thing I wish the attachments locked in place. They sometimes come loose and machine shakes a little but other than that this mixer is fantastic.

Why did I wait ?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the same mixer I got as a wedding present 49 years ago, it was past time to replace it. Even though I don’t bake every week , when I do , I wanted something reliable and up to the task. I love my new KitchenAid mixer! Besides the bright color addition to my counter, it effortlessly mixes and I don’t know why I waited so long. All my daughters and daughter-in-laws have KitchenAid, do there was no doubt as to the brand I would get. They are now wishing they had the extra capacity glass mixing bowl - and the color!
I am looking forward to using the grater / slicer attachment as well. We use a lot of sharp cheese and my hand/shoulder strength is not what it used to be!
