[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the mixer. I did have to take it back and exchange it because the plastic ring on the glass bowl got stuck in the threads of the base and I couldn't get it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a kitchen aid mixer for at least 25 years. Throughout various moves and taking it in and out of the cabinet it's been dropped one too many times. Although it still worked, it didn't really have a stir speed anymore and too many of the plastic parts were broken. Finally at my husbands urging I broke down and got a new one. Love it. I now have 10 distinct speeds and the glass bowl helps me easily see how well the ingredients are mixed. You may be wondering why not 5 stars...finding it a bit tricky to secure the glass bowl to the base and I purchased the new paddle with the integrated side scraper and it doesn't really work as it should with the glass bowl. BTW, this is one is so much quieter than my old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
