Well once I saw that it came in purple, I just knew I had to have it. I searched for months trying to find it in grape but no luck. I then saw the plumberry and decided to buy. I'm so glad I did. It is not only amazing but beautiful as well. Always a conversation piece in my kitchen. Does everything I wanted and MORE

So far I love it, I also bought the 3 quart bowl that is stainless and a the paddle with the silicone flex. I wanted one not too big and not too small. It is an art piece that decorates my kitchen with flair!

Waste of money!!!

I was so excited when I bought this mixer.
I bought my mixer approximately two years ago and I have to say I am not happy with this mixer. It’s a dog when you’re trying to make bread dough.
The wattage is so low, I didn’t realize how low it was when I bought it. Grrr, your reviews must be fake!!

What a mistake!! Whatever happened to the good old KitchenAid workhorse that my grandmas used to have. These newfangled KitchenAid stand mixer‘s are just no good.
They recommend when you’re making bread to let it go on the #2 speed in increments. Well duh, when you make bread you can’t just turn it off in 10 minute increments or five minute increments. You don’t do that when making bread. My old Oster does better than the KA. What a waste of money!!!!. So unhappy & now I’m stuck with this dumpy mixer!!
It also clunks (right out of box) I adjusted like instructions said but I shouldn’t have to adjust it myself. It should already be correct!! Also the scrapper attachment doesn’t scrape very well.
I should have bought a Bosch or Wonder mix!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With the exception of a small dent (which kind of irks me-with this being an expensive item) it is just what I was looking for. I love the look of the Design model with the glass bowl and metal attachments. Hopefully this mixer will last me forever.
