I am SO happy to have found this Frosted Pearl Artisan with glass bowl back in stock!! I needed a new mixer as my old KitchenAid Artisan was over 25 years old and over heating and making strange noises. It was in almost constant use for many years. I got in my head about it, and decided that for Christmas I wanted a new KitchenAid but I wanted to “upgrade” to the 7 qt bowl lift in this same color. It came and it is a thing of beauty but I just found the mechanics of using it to be cumbersome. Just the learning curve for getting the bowl cranked up and down and very hard for me to snap the back of the bowl in place. Just decided that I wanted to revert to my same old tilt head but in the same color! SOLD OUT NATION WIDE! Of course. Kept checking the website relentlessly and they just popped up today! So elated! KitchenAid has easy returns and their team is so wonderful to work with. So happy this worked out the way it did. Thanks KitchenAid! Ready for the next 25 years!!

Functional Has-Been Mixer, Built Cheap as Possible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thin, fragile glass bowl shattered into impressively large number of tiny shards within a few months due to minor impact. This isn’t remotely Pyrex-quality stuff, it’s pathetic.
Stand component is similarly cheaply built, thin pot-metal style casting. It works, but this thing isn’t in the same league as the Kitchen Aid mixers I used 20 years ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE MY MIXER

I even used it to make mashed potatoes! It's not as loud as my hand-mixer or my blender. My hand-mixer is now obsolete!! I love it!

Mixer stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately it stopped working after 10 uses- Less than two years old however the KitchenAid I purchased in 1978 K5SS is going strong - KitchenAid needs to replace this for me it is totally unacceptable

Great Mixer

The mixer runs great and does a great job. The only thing is that the whisk and mixer attachment that came with it has the coating coming off so I had to pay to replace those. Also there is a small chip in the bowl from wear and tear.
