Love my new mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer is very easy to use and has great features. I've only used the beater attachment so far, but it is fantastic. It gets to all of the batter. There is hardly any need to scrape the sides of the bowl. The batter was smooth and creamy, and the cake turned out to be one of the best I have ever made (And I have used the same recipe for years and years!). I saved a lot of time, and the clean-up was quick and easy too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually a Christmas gift from my fiance' who was concerned (and rightly so) about me using my Grandmother's old stand mixer (in Harvest Gold -- that's how old it is!) since her old mixer was beginning to get pretty warm (OK ... hot. It was getting hot) when I used it for any length of time. I really was going to wait and open it for Christmas, but he insisted that I go ahead and take it out of the box and not use my Grandmother's mixer for the rest of my Christmas baking. Let me tell you ..... first off, this thing is GORGEOUS! The pearly blue color reminds of me beach glass (it actually looks kind of "seafoam" to me, but I'm colorblind so what do I know lol). Second, the mixer is heavy as heck! It's what you'd call "substantial" lol .... so it will not be going up in the cabinet over the refrigerator where I kept my grandmother's old mixer. I'm gonna have to do some re-arranging in my little kitchen to make room in a lower cabinet! Which actually may be a good thing, since it will be easy to access :-) I'm also very impressed with how easy it is to figure out -- AND with all of the things it can do! It comes with three attachments/beaters, but you can get gadgets to attach to the front of that make pasta and do all kinds of things. How exciting!! And I know it will last forever! So glad to have this new mixer!!

This helps him make his favorite bread/pizza dough much more quicker and easier. We're in love! Hoping to get a few attachments to get the most out of it.
