When I do cook it works like a champ!

Good mixer, bad bowl and beaters.

My glass bowl shattered and made a huge mess, ruining a batch of cookies and cutting a finger (no stitches required). Also, my mixer came with coated beaters and the flex edge flat beater. Unfortunately, the coating has flaked off of both. AND, bits of the flex material seems to have fallen off (into my baked goods?). I am trying to acquire new stainless beaters. With the required purchase of a new bowl, and now beaters, I could have almost purchased a new mixer. Very disappointing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the glass bowl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Kitchen Aid mixer because my son is using my first one. Love the new glass bowl because it's so easy to see what I'm blending, The smooth strength is amazing the way it mixes so quickly and evenly.

Best Christmas present ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got 2 of these this year (you all are trying to keep me in the kitchen I see). Haven't used it too much yet but I love it so far! Been researching all the right attachments based on review feedback. The only negative so far is that despite the wonderful glass bowl on my mixer, I can't get a shield screen for it since they're only compatible with metal bowls. Still I'm excited to keep using it and look forward to creating more recipes.
