I have wanted a Kitchenaid for years and never purchased one. I received this one as a Christmas gift and I'm so sorry that I did not get one sooner. I love the versatility and general usefulness of the unit and find it to be my go-to appliance for a lot of tasks for which previously I had to use separate units. It has been able to make bread that would have bogged down my "other" mixer, made phenomenal merengue and allowed me to create foods that work with my food allergies that I previously had to go without... not to mention so many things that I couldn't have made with the other appliances I had. It's made it so much easier for us to cook healthier meals from scratch for our family and I've already gotten the juicer, ice cream maker another attachments and use them all with some frequency. This was a wonderful gift that I plan to use for many years going forward.

My 84year old mother has wanted this stand mixer for years, so my husband and I purchased it for her. She uses it constantly to bake cookies and cakes without a hitch. The blades are easy to insert and take out, the bowl is easy for her to hold onto when pouring the batter!! She's happy, so we're happy!! Codons to KitchenAide once again!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought my third kitchenaid mixer! I wanted another one because I needed the 5qt. size. The color is sea glass and it is beautiful! I’ve had my original kitchenaid for 20 years and it still works perfectly! You can’t go wrong with kitchenaid.
