Just a few minor complaints

I love the mixer. I already had a Kitchenaid mixer for over 20 years. Decided I wanted one with glass mixing bowl. My complaints are that the bowl doesn't have a cover like the one if you purchase separatly. Also the mixer doesn't lock tightly. I also don't like the beaters and dough hook. They look cheap.

Mixer bowl is glass!

I really like a glass bowl. You can see the sides. It is microwaveable. But not as good as it sounds because you must remove the metal ring that attaches the bowl to the stand. then reattach with the warmed contents. In all fairness I have not tried it.
The beaters are burnished should not be put in the dishwasher, which I did! I could no longer use it. When I called the company a very nice young lady sent me a coated one.
I think the 5 qt. bowl size is so much better that the 4.5 Qt.

I received it as a wedding gift, a month ago and I'm forever thankful for it! I've already used it twice to make cheesecakes and once for a batch of bread dough. It works fantastically well, I especially love the no skid treatment on the bottom of the stand. It is rock solid and doesn't budge a millimeter!

I am a mother of 5 and bake all the time. My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I use it ALL the time. It does a good job mixing cookie batter and does an AMAZING job with mashed potatoes. The best Christmas gift I have ever received!!!

I bought my Stand mixer a few weeks ago. It has brought our family together. As a family we research recipes and carry them out in the mixer. The attachments are plentiful. This machine is fun, easy and versatile and a welcome addition to our family.
