The best baking partner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted to purchase a KitchenAid Mixer but I would stop myself because I would think “I will not use it enough to spend the money”. Now, that we are all home, due to the virus, I started baking again. This great mixer has cut down the time in mixing cookie dough, cake mixes and bread dough. I just love it and can’t wait to purchase the pasta maker and roller. Great purchase!

Great Design and Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second kitchendaid Stand Mixer. After a few times use, I think this one is better than my last one. It is a little smaller but more efficient. The design is pretty. We have used this machine to make bread, cookie and whipped cream.

I am so saddened by the cheapening of this American brand. I have had KitchenAid’s for 30 years and loved them until now. You seem to be using cheaper materials and eliminating everything that made your mixers great. The removal of the spring in the attachments seems to be a huge design mistake! The paddles just do not sit as they should without it. No matter how many times you do the dime test, the paddle hammers the side of the bowl and never distributes/mixes the ingredients as it used to with the spring design. And your glass bowls, why are you no longer using the rubber coating on the base where it attaches? I see all the reviews of glass bowls breaking or coming off during mixing and one has to wonder if this is a result of seating the glass directly against the metal. And the attachments we have all purchased over the years now seem to permanently fuse with the machine each time you use them! Such an effort to get the attachment off! You need to go back and rethink the changes you have made. It is sad that bakers can no longer depend on the quality of your product.

Glass bowl exploded

Kitchen Aid,
I am so upset, yesterday whilst making bread I had everything fastened as instructed and turned on to medium speed to mix. The metal cap for the attachments came flying off landed in the bowl which caused the bowl to explode whilst I was in front of it and subsequently cutting both myself and my dog who was in the kitchen with me.
My only saving grace was my young grandson had just exited the kitchen in his walker and had he not have gone off on his own he would most likely have sustained cuts to his head and face. Thankfully mine and my dogs cuts were not enough to warrant the need to seek medical attention.
This is DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF ASAP, before someone gets seriously injured.
I only received my KitchenAid stand mixer for Christmas as my children brought it for me, this was only my second time of using it and I have to say I am gutted as I love all of your KitchenAid products and have used them for years, not to mention the fact I am now without a bowl for my mixer and these are not cheap to replace. I loved the aesthetics of the glass bowl but after witnessing my bowl explode first hand and the having the cuts from it I have to say I would NEVER recommend a glass bowl from now one especially with the potential of what could have happened had my young grandson still have been in the kitchen.

Horrible design! The reviews on here are bias!

My review is not an incentivized review. I bought this and I cook a lot and started using it for pizza dough. If I could return it I most definitely would. I wish I would have read the reviews thoroughly to see that most are incentivized. Straight out of the box the head wobbles and struggles. I have done every screw it says to tighten and it still doesn’t work!!!! Rather annoying and I will be doing my research before I purchase another unit to replace this one!! Upon looking up how to fix it. It’s a huge problem. Super unhappy and would not recommend!!

Not great

I bought this mixer. I used it about twice a month. After about 7 months I took it out of the cupboard and saw what looked like chocolate syrup in the bowl......unfortunately it waste internal oil dripping from the mixer head....what’s with that. I will never use it again because I am worried about motor oil in my food. What a disappointment. The blue mixer was beautiful but poor performance!
