Broken glass bowl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had so much luck with Kitchenaid products and the high quality, but I think they may have missed the mark with their glass bowl. While I was mixing cookie dough the bottom broke off and caused a huge crack in the bowl. I definitely would recommend buying a mixer with a steel bowl instead of a glass one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Baking is a pure pleasure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always thinking that KitchenAid is not necessary. I can have it but there are many other ways and lower-cost products to do what we can do with KitchenAid. But since I have it, I can not imagine how I did all these things before.
1. I'm a clean freak - so during each baking, I was using few bowls and spoons and washing everything all the time. Now, I'm using I KitchenAid and then putting everything into the washer!
2. I'm a strong woman, but making a yeast dough was a nightmare - now I'm making a fresh bread every week!
I was always loving being in the kitchen, cooking and baking and with my KitchenAid, it becomes even better experience :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been contemplating on buying a kitchenaid mixer for about three years now and I finally got one and I don't regret it! I love the fact how easy it is to figure out how it works. Also, it was nice how it comes with a cook book full of recipes!
My favorite things to make with my mixer are pizza dough, cookies, and butter cream!
I've only used a hand held a few times so I don't have the best experience to compare the two but I do know it's nice to just throw everything in there and let it do its thing!
I can't wait for the holiday season to make all kinds of treats!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read loads of reviews before purchasing and was a little concerned about reviews that said things like, "bowl flew off and broke" and "flour goes everywhere". I'm happy to say the bowl locks on securely - I really wanted a glass bowl, and was happy to find it wasn't too heavy. The flour does have a tendency to fly up, so I don't put too much in at once and start the machine really slowly.
I always used to make bread by hand, but in recent years arthritis in my fingers has prevented me. (Arthritis is also the reason I was concerned about the weight of the bowl.) My KitchenAid mixer helped me make 2 great loaves of bread again!

Kitchenaid Mixers are the Best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a K45 Kitchenaid mixer (harvest gold, no less) for 45 years without a single problem. We have ground our own venison, stuffed sausage, whipped cream, made bread, made every imaginable dessert... It’s my number 1 appliance. I must say that I like the old beaters so much more than the new. My old mixer is going to a cabin but I’ll be keeping the 45 year-old beaters and sending the new with the old mixer. Also, I’m disappointed that the glass bowl can’t be used in the microwave (without taking the bottom piece off).
