Perfect Powerful Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Artisan Candy Apple stand mixer as a gift. It came with the glass bowl, all the white coated beaters, and the flex edge beater, and a gray storage cover that fits on the glass bowl. At first the glass bowl was difficult to get in and out of the mixer and had a learning curve, but after trying a number of times using it, it became easier and now fits in for me very well. I did purchase a metal bowl for the mixer so I would have a metal light weight bowl on days I did not feel like lifting the glass bowl. I have fibromyalgia so lifting on some days is not easy for me. I love the 325 watts of power for making batches of cookies, and it powers through dough very well. I like the white coated beaters because they shed the product very well, and the flex edge beater is stellar. I like the glass bowl for pouring batter into muffin cups because it has the pouring spout, and there is no mess on the sides of the muffin pan. I use this particular mixer weekly, and especially at Christmas and holiday times to do my special baking. It works very well handling the things I make. I appreciate being able to chill down the dough in the glass bowl, and it helps with cookie making. I also shred chicken and pork, and make mashed potatoes with this mixer. I want to make bread so I thought this would be a nice unit for that, and I wanted an Artisan because it seems to be the go to mixer in most kitchens, and this particular mixer offered the glass bowl. My kitchen is done in red so I wanted this race car red mixer.

Glass bowl is great!

The only issue I have noticed is that the machine has a hard time holding the bowl on the bottom with a bit tougher doughs. Still works amazing just have to hold it down a bit! Love the machine!
