Amazing piece of engineering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so much better than wearing my arms out with my hand mixer. The KitchenAid mixes ingredients quickly and does a good job of scraping the side of the bowl. I usually only have to manually scrape the side of the bowl once or twice. While it is fun to knead bread by hand, the KitchenAid gets the job done very quickly. The mixing blades are coated with something magical so dough and other ingredients don't get stuck to the mixing blades. I love my KitchenAid

Great Appliance, Underpowered Motor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very first use of this mixer was to make pasta with the kneading hook and optional attachment. The engine had trouble working through 2 cups of flour in the bowl and when it came time to knead, the lowest setting for the pasta attachment had me doubting if it would last the entire time. This machine is nice and heavy however I fear that it will not last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor manufacturing quality

Not made as well as old stand mixers. The lock bar just shakes itself off after a few seconds of run time, over heats after a few minutes on high. There’s too many quality control problems for this kind of expense.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OMG I really should have gotten one sooner. Is so easy to use and had done a wonderful job. I have used it almost every other day. Making pizza crust has never been so easy. Saving up to get all the extra attachments!
