I don't make pastries often because making pastries is really time consuming and arm tiring. But this KitchenAid mixer is a time and arm saver. So far I have made pumpkin pies, noodles, cookies and bread. The glass bowl is great. I can see how the ingredients are being mixed. It's a bit pricey but worth it.
