I've been using it for 4 weeks now and there is a lot of baking going on at home right now. Works great, silent, big, I make 40 cupcakes at a time. I can't believe I lived without it for years. As I told my husband this is my most valuable kitchen addition.

Dream mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a Sunbeam stand mixer in 1974 and used it until about 5 years ago. I replaced it with another Sunbeam, thinking that I would be getting similar quality. I was wrong! I endured it for that length of time until I could stand it no longer. I bought my Kitchenaid about a month ago and could hardly believe the smoothness of this appliance. It runs quietly and mixes perfectly because the beater moves around the bowl giving batter a better mix. I am extremely happy that I bought this appliance and consider it to be one of my best purchases ever. Yes, it’s a little pricey but worth every penny.
