My only criticism is that this model, when using the larger mixing bowls (such as the one that comes with it), is not always powerful enough to move at consistent speeds throughout all of the ingredients in the bowl. I have used other models of the KitchenAid Mixer that do this job better. However, I think that this is great for the average home cook or baker. Very easy to use. If all the attachments were dishwasher safe it would be even better!

An absolute must-have in your kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid Stand Mixer (first one lasted 13 years even after I dropped it on the concrete floor). It's way more quiet than my old one - we can actually have a conversation while it's on. The base is a little bigger than the old one and the unit seems more balanced, so it doesn't dance around the countertop. I really like the glass bowl - you can see the bottom and whether everything is well blended - no surprise flour at the bottom of the bowl as you transfer your cake to the form. The color is vibrant and absolutely beautiful. I'm very satisfied overall with the performance and the design. It is the most used appliance in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas and I have been using it for everything! I have made several desserts with it and it takes no time. We even made homemade rolls with it for a dinner. Definitely recommend and look forward to using it in the future
