Why did I wait so long to get one?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to buy a KA stand mixer because of increasing hand pain with mixing, kneading, grating etc.
I felt the KA mixer would allow me to still bake as much as I want - but more comfortably.
I talked to friends at work and soon found out that I was one of the only people who did NOT have one.
And all my coworkers spoke of their mixers as dependable, long term indispensable tools in their kitchens.
Now that I have one, I regret that I did not get one SO many years ago when my children were home and I cooked and baked much more than I do now!
Nevertheless, I absolutely love this mixer and only wish I had more time to experiment with recipes. I really only have the weekends to cook - but look forward to any recipe with this mixer.
It again makes cooking and baking so much more pleasurable, no pain with all the hand and wrist work. And so far, every recipe has come out perfectly.
I would recommend this for anyone who cooks - and don't wait like I did!
A invaluable kitchen investment.

My sister in law recommended that I get a glass bowl for easy microwave use also. I purchased the Azure Blue mixer and absolutely love it and the color!

my "always wanted one" mixer
