[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the stand mixer! It would probably help for it to automatically come with a guard. I wound up cleaning up some messes a couple of times bc some things just go everywhere. If it’s butter and just normal things, no problem. It does a good job. Hopefully it will last forever bc they are pretty expensive.
I wish it would scrape everything off the sides and top to mix better. Overall, does what it needs to do.

I’m 81 and finally got my Kitchen Aid Mixer

After I sold my home and moved into a townhome, I decided that this cook is going to finally get one. I just love to bake and you know what , you don’t have to look far to find someone super happy to get something home baked. I’m lovin my new mixer.

Prop 65 Warning?!?!?

Received it as a Christmas item, but after I had already unpackaged, washed everything up, and tossed the box, I sat down to read the manual and discovered a Prop 65 warning. I'm pregnant and have a toddler, and while I know that this warning is on a LOT of products, I would have thought twice about buying it had I known this prior. Its for food that I want to nourish my family with and I don't need any extra carcinogens !

I bought this mixer write before Christmas and received it in about a week. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but after using it several times now, all concerns are gone. I am comfortable with the glass mixing bowl and I do not have any trouble with mixing tools not getting ingredients on the side and bottom of the bowl as some have indicated. It was a simple adjustment. KitchenAid has a video on YouTube.
I love it...its a timesaver for sure. I've been making cookies and cakes and look forward to trying bread!!!

Amazing upgrade from a hand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been saving for this mixer for a while and am not disappointed!
I would consider myself an above average scratch cook from the millennial generation.
I purchased this mixer in time to use while making my Christmas cookies this year. It was incredibly nice to be able to dump things in and let the mixer mix while I prepared the next ingredients. I was able to make triple batches without any issue. The only cookie I found the mixer to grunt a little on were peanut butter blossoms. It is a drier cookie mix and the mixer did appear to notice (though the batter was still mixed well).
I have also used this mixer to make a standard cake. I found with smaller inclusion rates the ridge at the bottom of the glass bowel does not allow for dry ingredients to completely mix in.
I have not made bread yet but I look forward to giving it a try.
I am also excited to purchase the slice/dicer/chopper. I just imagine all the time it could save me!
So far, I would definitely recommend this mixer. It has been a nice machine.

Excellent Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Kitchen Aid mixer for over 40 years and would not change. When the one I have used for over 20 Years stop working, I immediately when out and bought the artisan with the glass bowl and I love it.
