[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the red kitchen aid mixer as a gift for our wedding and have used it for the past year. I am far from a professional chef, but I find that it works well for making all sorts of pancakes and baked goods. This size I think is perfect for your average person; I've seen the professional one and think that it is too much unless you run a catering business or regularly need to make a large amount of dough. I have not experimented much with the attachments but I would recommend trying the scraper bowl attachment. I always end up dirtying a separate spatula or two. Aesthetically, the red color is beautiful and if you need to put it out on the counter as I do, it still looks nice.
