We read some very scarey reviews before choosing the set three months ago. We followed the consumer reports recommendation and we are glad we did. We love it. The only problems are with rugs and large comforters. It washess them but the larger version would have been better for these items. Being able to look inside through the glass top of the bigger version would have been nice but we really didn't need that size. It saves water and energy too.The matching dryer handles anything we can wash. .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good in every way except that the cycles are very loud. I do like the sound when it is done so I know when to get clothes out.

When we first used the washer, we thought something was wrong with it. We called service to come out and take a look at it. The serviceman assured us that is was working as designed. The washer makes a horrible sound during its wash cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned front loaders hd for years, decided to try something different. Less expensive and easier to unload and load. I love these. Didn't know about the top load hd. My new favorites!

I received this washer and it was DOA. The Lidlock button always kept flashing and the washer would not even start - not even for the sanitizing. My dealer replaced the unit and the next one was fine. So I am satisfied, though a bit worried about the quality of the electronics.The washer does a decent job. It is a bit noisy, though not too much,. overall satisfied for nthe purchase price.

It is quite difficult and time consuming to keep clothes on the outside ofdrum. No matter how diligent one is in placing clothes in drum theyget tangled and one has to undo and shake out the wrinkles.before placing them in the dryer.Perhaps I am spoiled by the silent machine I had before. I bought thismachine because of its alleged capacity but find it very difficult to pack in bulky items. The features offered are very good and it is nice to know the time it takes for each type of washing selected.I made a mistake in buying this particular machine thinking its capacity wasfar greater the a central centrifugal piece. However a front loader isa better choice .for greater capacity. I trust you find these comments useful.

The machine is easy to use, except if I want to soak something. The water level is not high enough. I think the low water level also contributes to the clothes being extra wrinkled when I pull them out. I would like to be able to manually adjust the water level when I think it needs to be higher. I also find white smudgy spots on my dark pants and I'm not sure what to do about that.

Great Machine, but it can be loud!

I bought this machine after doing some serious searching and web research. It is a very good machine for the money, with great features. I can trust the machine to select the correct water levels for varying loads and I save money. It requires small amounts of detergent, and the dispensers are excellent. In addition, I just love the timer to show me how long the wash cycle will take. My only small complaint is that the machine is rather loud. I have it in my basement, so I do not really hear it. However, for someone wishing to purchase this machine and use it on their main living floor, I may consider another machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
