I like to just wash the clothes with as little complication as possible. This machine makes it easy to do that.

This machine not only is very water and detergent efficient, but has an appealing look to it.Have had NO problems with the machine since our purchase. My only recommendation to any prospective buyer because of all the electronics would be get an extended warranty.

Good Decision to Purchase

This is my 3rd Whirlpool Washer & Dryer over 39 years so I'm an experienced user. I am very keen on being a good steward of our natural resources and am pleased that this is a High efficiency system.I worried that I would not be happy after reading all the negative reviews but I am very pleased. I followed all the instructions and found the prep work not all that different from what I had been doing regarding color & fabric separation.During the installation, it was raining and I used some white towels to wipe up the mud tracked in. They were in the first load and came out perfectly clean.I do not have a window in the lid so I cannot see whether or not everything gets wet during the process but everything is wet when it is done and there was no residue left in the dispenser. I was pleased that the towels were not as wet as with the conventional machine and the drying time was significantly reduced.Since this is such a different system, I do wish the designers had included a window in the lid of this model too so I could see how it works.

This washer is a waste of money.

I am sorry I bought this washer. It is noisy & vibrates worse than the one I took to the dump. I don't feel like my clothes get clean enough. The clothes are very wrinkled from being twisted together. I have to practically "untie" them. The dispenser for softener is too small. Also the dispensers hold water, so I have to dry them out each time.

This washer is doing a good job with getting clothes clean; only issue I have so far is that when I want to hang clothes out without putting in the dryer, they tend to be wrinkled due to the way the spin cycle is

Variety of settings, but poor mechanical duribility

Although this is my first Eco-friendly washer, it does not seem to clean clothes as well as older washer models. I have had to have my particular washer serviced twice for both electronic and mechanical parts with in 2 yrs of purchase. The first was within 6 months, the other a little over a year later. This is poor for a two adult household. Fortunately I bought an extended service plan from the retailer.
