This washer is an energy saver

The many easy to use features on this washer really help to choose the most energy efficient cycles to use to save water and electric. Compared to the old style washers it uses much less water and the end of cycle alarm is much more pleasant than a buzzer.This washer is so quiet that the first time I checked to if it was running.

Bought ours in Feb 2012. So far, so good. Had one service call when it was new. Sometimes dark colored clothes wind up with a detergent mark on them. Have to rewash. Usually only happens with one heavy dark blue shirt.Don't expect it to last nearly as long as my last machine (20+ years)but OK so far. Not going to pay $300 + for a service call when something breaks. I'll just buy a new machine

The noise level is loud. The clothes come out very wrinkled no matter what cycle. There is also a residue left on the clothes so most of the time I have to rewash without detergent to get it off. Never will buy a Whirlpool again.

Nice Features, Good Results, A bit noisy

Washer performs as advertised, easy to load, easy to run, many nice features. Clothes come out clean when following directions. Washer makes a bit more noise than the older traditional upscale washers with an agitator. Washer also shakes more than traditional washer during spin cycle. I think the machine uses a higher spin RPM so clothes are dryer also. Had machine two months so far.

Saving on my water and electric bill

This machine uses less water and spins the clothes to almost dry! I have to shake them before putting in the dryer, but the dry time has greatly decreased. Plus I got a rebate. So far, so good.

Not what we expected,

This new washer does not clean well, have had to rinse pants after taking them out of the machine to get them clean. Stuff comes out of the machine stiff and rough. Even after going thru the dryer. Not happpy with the performance. Or quality this is the second machine the first machine rwe had to have it replaces because the lid would not close and trigger the switch to let it start washing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
