Hard to use

I find that my clothes are VERY wrinkled even if I take them out right after the wash cycle ends and they are not always clean (especially if they were at the bottom of the washer) I prefer a front loading machine. This washer is very loud too!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Questionable cleaning ability

I personally have found that placing the clothes in the washer as instructed has caused the clothes to be wringled more than the standard washer and have found some clothes never getting wet. Wife has also found soap still in black pants after washing and also somewhat louder than standard machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
